Why Fire is C tier

A workable starter: Crimson Bolt costs only 8 mana on a 2-second cooldown and explodes on impact, and Salamander’s Roar rings you with fire.

Best for: Starter Island and your first levels, and as a cheap book to level while you save Gems for better spins.

X opens at book level 10 and C at book level 20 as you fight with the book. Common and Rare books have no V ultimate.

Strengths

  • Crimson Bolt and Salamander’s Roar each cost only 8 mana, on 2 s and 3.5 s cooldowns
  • Ember Prison roots a whole group, so your next bolts land
  • A full rotation costs just 36 mana

Weaknesses

  • No V ultimate, and it stops at four leaves
  • Its damage falls well behind the Rare and Legendary books, which is why it sits in C tier

How to get Fire in Clover Legends

You can hold 12 grimoires in your bag and equip one at a time.

Fire shares this 1,604,250 Yul total with Water, Wind; only the materials differ. Each awakening multiplies damage (1.13× at I up to 1.84× at V) and raises crit chance to 20% and crit damage to 60%.

Where to farm Fire materials

Materials drop from chests on their home island and can also be bought one at a time in the material shop. Totals below cover Awaken I to V.

Buying every material in the shop would cost 28,911,800 Yul on top of the awakening fees, so farming the island chests saves the most. See the Clover Legends islands guide for level ranges and chest odds.

Best Fire build and tips

  • Open with Ember Prison, then fire Salamander’s Roar while enemies are rooted
  • Swap to Lightning when the day 2 login reward arrives
  • Keep Fire in your bag only if you have nothing else; it is the first book most players replace
  • Stats: The 36-mana rotation fits in the base 100-mana pool, so every point can go into Melee or Magic (they add the same damage) and Defense. Stats guide
  • Race: Devil-family races add the most damage; High Elf (−25% cooldown) helps books with long cooldowns. Race tier list

Fire vs Water

Fire deals more damage on its own. Water trades damage for Sea Dragon’s Nest, a dome that absorbs all damage for your squad, so it is the better group book.

Fire grimoire FAQ

Is Fire good in Clover Legends?

Fire is a C-tier starter book. It clears Starter and Skull Island well thanks to cheap 8-mana spells, but most players replace it with a Rare or Legendary book as soon as they can.

How do I get the Fire grimoire?

Your free first spin can land Fire, Water or Wind. After that, Common books come up 60% of the time on a 160-Gem spin, and the rotating book shop sells Fire for 50,000 Yul when it is in stock.
