Clover Legends race roll chances

These are the chances shown in the in-game race panel. Each reroll first picks a family, then a race inside it, so the rare race of a rare family is the hardest to get.

Race pity

The panel keeps two pity counters. Devil pity fills to 40 and Angel pity fills to 75. Every reroll that misses the family adds one, so you are guaranteed a Devil-family race within 40 rerolls and an Angel-family race within 75.

The guarantee covers the family, not a specific race: the Devil pity can land Devil-Touched rather than True Devil.

Plain odds without pity. The Devil and Angel pity counters make the family results certain at 40 and 75 rerolls.

How race rerolls work

  • Sep 12 Race rerolls arrive with the Get Your Race update.
  • Sep 23 Two extra race slots become available for Robux, and the game now asks you to confirm before rerolling a Rare or better race.
  • Sep 24 Race Auto Reroll and a 50 Race Reroll pack join the shop.

Free rerolls come from Clover Legends codes (WORLDBOSS gives 3 right now) and from the playtime rewards, where the second tier pays 250 Yul and 2 rerolls. The race panel sells packs of 5 rerolls for 49 Robux and 10 rerolls for 89 Robux.

A simple reroll plan

  1. Decide what you need: damage (Devil), cooldowns (Elf), speed and survival (Angel), chests (Dwarf) or XP (Human).
  2. Pick a target race and one backup you would also keep.
  3. Use Auto Reroll or roll by hand, and stop as soon as you hit either one.
  4. Save leftover rerolls for after the next balance update instead of rolling them all at once.

Best race for your grimoire

Light or Dark

True Devil or Half-Devil. Both books deal heavy damage, so flat damage and crit damage scale best.

Mana-hungry books

High Elf. World Tree spells cost 30 to 100 mana, and High Elf adds +12% max mana with −25% cooldown.

PvP Arena

Seraph. +18% move speed and +10% crit chance help you chase and dodge in 1v1 duels.

Chest farming

Forge Dwarf or Dwarf. Farm the island that matches your level so chests pay full Gems.

Leveling to 9,000

Arcane Human or Noble Human for bonus XP and mastery XP while you climb the islands.

Broom races and brooms

"Races" also means the broom races on Broom Island, added on September 5: three courses, each with Easy, Medium and Hard modes and their own leaderboard. Brooms unlock at level 160. Only speed differs between them; the Crazy Cyclone is the one broom with three seats.

Clover Legends races FAQ

What is the best race in Clover Legends?

True Devil is the best race in Clover Legends for damage: +15% damage, +12% crit damage and +8% mana regen. Half-Devil (+12% damage, +10% crit damage) is the next best. High Elf and Seraph are strong alternatives if you want shorter cooldowns or more speed and crit chance.

How many races are in Clover Legends?

There are 15 races in five families: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Devil and Angel. Each family has three members, and the rarer member gives the bigger bonus.

How do I get race rerolls?

Redeem codes (WORLDBOSS currently gives 3 Race Rerolls), or buy reroll packs in the shop, including a 50 Race Reroll pack. Event rewards from the official Discord have also handed out rerolls.

Does rerolling my race change my grimoire?

No. Race and grimoire are separate systems. A reroll only replaces your race; your book, book level and awakenings stay the same.

What is the rarest race in Clover Legends?

Seraph, at a 0.1% roll chance. True Devil is 0.2%, Angel and Forge Dwarf are 0.5% each, and High Elf is 0.8%. Human is the most common result at 49%.

Is there a race pity system?

Yes. The race panel has a Devil pity counter that fills to 40 and an Angel pity counter that fills to 75. Each reroll that misses the family adds to the counter, so a Devil-family race is guaranteed within 40 rerolls and an Angel-family race within 75.

What race should I use with True Devil and Light?

True Devil already is a race, so pair it with a damage grimoire such as Light or Dark. If you play Light and keep waiting on its 12 to 15 second cooldowns, High Elf’s −25% cooldown is the alternative worth rolling for.
